Married... with children, also known as Married with children, is an American sitcom that aired for eleven seasons, it featured a dysfunctional family living in Chicago, Illinois. The show, notable for being the first prime time television series to air on Fox, it ran from April 5, 1987, to June 9, 1997. The series was created by Michael G. Moye and Ron Leavitt. The series' 11-season, 262-episode run makes it the longest-lasting live-action sitcom on the Fox network.
The series features Ed O'Neill as Al Bundy – The head of the Bundy household and as a women's shoes' seller lives an unrewarding life with a family that mocks and disrespects him. Katey Sagal is Peggy, Al's wife who is often on his case about money and refuses to clean or cook.Christina Applegate plays Kelly – The older child of the Bundy clan; a stereotypical dumb blond and David Faustino as Bud – The younger of Al and Peggy's children, and the most intelligent member of the family.
